Getting Here

The Sunshine Coast coastline stretches for a more than 100km starting at Bribie Island in the south and ending in a blaze of World Heritage-listed glory on the shores of Fraser Island to the north.

Mooloolaba is approximately 100km north of Brisbane. Take the Bruce Highway and follow the signs to the Sunshine Coast Motorway and then off to the Brisbane Road.

You’ll find Sandcastles Mooloolaba Apartments next to the Mooloolaba Surf Club and just a stone’s throw from the famous Esplanade and Wharf.

Sunshine Coast is an hours drive to the closest international airport - Brisbane Airport. From the Brisbane Airport, you can either hire a car or get a shuttle bus or private chauffered transport to Sandcastles Mooloolaba.

Local Sunshine Coast Airport at Marcoola is 20 mins drive from Sandcastles Mooloolaba. Sunshine Coast Airport is serviced by Bonza, Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Qantas domestically as well Air New Zealand who provide seasonal flight services from Auckland.

All major interstate coach lines service the area, and Sunbus operates a regular local bus service from Noosa to Caloundra.

Queensland Rail offers daily service (with connecting bus service) which operates between the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast stations at Landsborough and Nambour.
